Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Postgate (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Postgate is operated by Enraio. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Postgate is a social media cross-posting gateway that allows you to connect your social media accounts and publish content across multiple platforms through a unified API. The Service is available as a hosted SaaS product and as self-hosted open-source software.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and account credentials.
You are responsible for all content published through Postgate using your account.
You must not share your API keys with unauthorized parties.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Postgate to:

Publish spam, unsolicited bulk content, or automated engagement manipulation.
Violate the terms of service of any connected platform (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Threads).
Publish content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected platforms.
Exceed rate limits or abuse the API in a way that degrades the Service for other users.

5. Platform Compliance

Postgate acts as an intermediary to publish content on third-party platforms. You are responsible for complying with each platform's terms of service, community guidelines, and content policies. Postgate is not responsible for actions taken by platforms against your account (suspensions, bans, content removal).

6. Service Tiers

Self-hosted (free): You host Postgate on your own infrastructure with your own OAuth app credentials. No warranty or SLA.
Self-hosted (paid): You host Postgate on your own infrastructure using Postgate's shared OAuth credentials. Support via email.
Hosted SaaS: We host Postgate for you. Includes managed OAuth, automatic updates, and email support.

7. Payment & Billing

Paid tiers are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are available for the current billing period if requested within 7 days of charge. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not sell or share your data.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you publish through Postgate. We claim no rights to your content. The Postgate name, logo, and software are the property of Enraio.

10. Availability & Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for failed posts, lost content, or platform API changes beyond our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

Postgate's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting all platforms and requesting account deletion. Upon termination, your data (tokens, post logs) will be deleted.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
